32-bit AK4493S DAC chip

It may be an entry-level device, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t ready for hi-fi sound. Using an all-new AK4493S DAC chip, the DX1 decodes up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM in a stunning 120dB of dynamic range.

Full-size? IEM? No problem

With high/low gain options and two outputs (6.35mm and 3.5mm), the DX1 is ready for IEMs, full-size headphones, and everything in between. Despite its small size, it can output up to 280mWx2 @32Ω and 51mWx2 @300Ω of power.

Discrete LNRD circuit

While USB power supplies are conveniently-sized, they present noise problems that can ruin even a high-end audio chain. The DX1 solves this problem with the Discrete LNRD (low noise reference driver) circuit. This circuit filters out the noise and interference of the USB power supply, resulting in less than 2.0uV of noise in the DAC and less than 1.0uV of noise in the amplifier, making sure that not even highly-sensitive IEMs will pick it up.
