The Story

The 6H5C (6AS7G) was produced in the USSR as a state-manufactured component rather than a branded commercial product. These tubes are effectively unbranded, identified only by type codes, factory marks, and date stamps. Internally, they’re rugged dual triodes with dual plate getters, designed for long service life and stable, predictable operation, qualities that translate well to hi-fi and OTL-style amplifier circuits. Every tube is fully tested and matched on an Amplitrex AT1000 to confirm electrical health and balance before shipment.

Archive Assessed, Apos Assured

All Archive tubes are thoroughly tested, inspected, photographed, and inventoried, guaranteeing the quality of each tube that's shipped to customers. All tubes carry an Apos 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

Are the tubes...dusty...?

Because these are genuine New Old Stock tubes, small cosmetic irregularities may be present. These aren't defects but artifacts of vintage manufacturing and decades of storage. They have no impact on reliability or sonic performance.
